Blogger and writer, Vivek Upadhayay, wrote this beautiful blog on Wednesday, July 1 in honor of Corrie. It is beautifully written . “And it is because of her heaven is called heaven” is one of his lines that caused me to cry because it is so beautiful. A writer’s greatest gift is words. This is why I write about Corrie, so she always lives on, but it means even more when another writer is also inspired. Thank you to Vivek Upadhayay.

This is for Corrie. A girl who died.
For a mom who lost her daughter 5 weeks ago.
A 5 year old girl with blue eyes and a little touch of green just like her father. A girl who was stronger than she looked like.
A girl who hated the oxygen masks. Who was a reporter of his elder brother and kept an eye on who was picking on him.
A girl you have never seen but yet you can feel attracted to her through her stories.
A girl who was afraid of being locked in a room but now locked in a casket.
A girl who was epitome of life, a budding flower, plucked out too soon by God. A shining star, center of all universes and aura of light frozen too soon.
We may fight our problems, conquer our pain and hope…
