Cordella Press published “Some Mornings on the Farm” on its Field Notes’ page.
“Some Mornings on the Farm” is my fourth poem about Corrie to be published.
It is the third poem from my “When We Danced in the Rain” poetry collection to be published.
This publication is my sixth poem between 2021-2022.
I’m grateful that “Some Mornings on the Farm” marks my twentieth publication. I’m fortunate that I’ve had academic work, short memoir and fiction published in addition to these poems.
The beautiful image paired with the poem on the Field Notes’ page is by Carlos Santos, and reminds me of a more gorgeous picture of the paths John had created for me to walk when the COVID-19 shut down started.
It is also one of the first poems in which I wrote describing the imagery on the farm in connection with Corrie.
