Corrie would be proud.
The kind of proud when you see the smile on your child’s face when he or she dances.
When I started writing about Corrie and of my Kinder Memorial Walk in her cemetery, my main concern was:
How can I honor Corrie in a way she will be remembered?
Art has a power.
It has the power to lift us or make us think.
I always considered myself a writer and sometimes a photographer.
I entered six pictures I had taken of the work I did with rose petals at Corrie’s grade into consideration for an art exhibition and contest.
Fusion Art in Palm Springs, California accepted my pink dress picture for its Leaves & Petals online exhibition.

For someone who has primarily been a writer, I am proud of this small accomplishment.
